My First Game Boy Advanced Game

My latest homework assignment for my Computer Science class I had to make a space invaders port for the game boy advanced. My product is called "Rectangle Invaders" because rectangles are easier to draw than space ships. You shoot down the invading aliens, and advance through the levels without getting help. The two green things on the screen are shields you can shoot through, but be careful, they can only take 31 hits before they go away!

You can download the source code here

If you have a GBA emulator you can download the compiled ROM here
or you can download an Emulator here to play it

Mmm, I see you're quite ammo-conservative.

Also, I totally hid behind hedges during airsoft games and they were exactly that effective at blocking bullets.

Not to mention that all of my friends were multicolored blinking squares.

(replace "airsoft games" with "shroom trips")

I'm really glad I'm not taking CS classes anymore. We had a semester long project to make a game that would run on the GBA emulator. I made pong and it was sweet. It had sound too! I'll try to find the source code and send it to you. Maybe you could play it and tell me what you think.

What language did you write that in? I think mine was in C.
