Bottles and Good Times

So yesterday, with the help of my roommate Jennifer, I bottled my first 42 bottles of St. Aubrey's Ale. This first batch is an IPA, and I think the batch might actually turn out well. I picked the name not only because I like the sound of it, but also have a feeling my chances of being canonized are slim to none. The bottles need to condition for about two weeks to carbonate, so they should be ready for consumption around July 5th. Consequently, if anyone feels like coming up with a St. Aubrey's logo, I'd love to have one.

In other news, we went to see Gentleman Jesse and His Men at the Earl in East Atlanta. They played through their entire new album, which I have to say was pretty awesome. It was the guitarist's, Craig's, last show before he leaves for Australia. Since Craig is a WREK alum, there were a number of people from the station there which made the show a lot of fun. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
